The American Academy of Religion brings thousands of professors and students, authors and publishers, religious leaders and interested laypersons to its Annual Meeting each year. Co-hosted with the Society of Biblical Literature, the Annual Meetings are the largest events of the year in the fields of religious studies and theology.

Atlanta 2015 Annual Meeting Banner

Join us for the 2015 AAR & SBL Annual Meetings in Atlanta! More than 1,200 events—academic sessions, additional meetings, receptions, tours, and workshops—will be offered. All sessions will take place at various hotels in downtown Atlanta, with the Exhibit Hall and Registration located in the Hyatt Regency, 265 Peachtree St. NE, Atlanta, GA, 30303. Conference hotels are located within easy walking distance of one another. Register soon to get the best attendee rate and hotel selection.

The print Annual Meetings Program Book will be mailed in early October to all registered attendees as of August 13 who elected to receive a printed book by mail. The At-A-Glance, with all the latest session and room updates, will be in the tote bag available onsite to all attendees. The Mobile App will once again be available free of charge for smart phone users. Changes to the meeting program during the meeting will be announced via the Mobile App, which is also available on the Web.
