The AAR has established the AAR COVID-19 Crisis Fund to support AAR members who have lost a significant portion of their income because of the coronavirus pandemic. Through the generous contributions by current and former members of the AAR Board of Directors and other kind donors, and inspired by an effort of our sibling learned society, the Modern Language Association, the AAR COVID-19 Crisis Fund will provide grants to AAR members who have incurred loss of a significant portion of their income due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Grant Amount
$500 (USD) per grantee
Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for the grant, applicants must meet the following requirements:

incurred loss of a significant portion of income due to the pandemic

Grant recipients will be selected by lottery
