Webinar: Religion and Sexuality: Tips for Sharing Scholarship with the Public

The Religious Freedom Center’s June webinar, Religion and Sexuality: Tips for Sharing Scholarship with the Public, will bring scholars together to discuss, and provide tools and resources for better engagement of different publics as well as provide information on promoting scholastic work. Join host co-presenters Lacette Cross, Founder, Will You Be Whole Ministries; Randall Miller, Global Religions Director, the Arcus Foundation; and Brian Pellot, Director of Global Strategy, Religion News Service on June 14, 2018 from 12p-1p (ET). The free webinar includes extended Q&A. Registration is required. RSVP here.

The monthly webinar serves to equip scholars with effective communication skills and empower them to present their research and materials to various publics, in various settings, about various topics, (e.g., social media, news, public events, and community gatherings). The Public Scholars Project, a joint initiative of the AAR’s Public Understanding of Religion Committee and the Newseum Institute’s Religious Freedom Center, hosts this and other webinars featuring select scholars and practitioners.
