AAR Public Scholars ProjectSharing Scholarship about Religious Persecution: How to Make People Care
Wednesday, October 11, 2017
12:00
–12:45 p.m. Eastern Time

This free webinar will discuss how scholars of religion can engage different publics, including policymakers, about religious persecution at home and abroad. We are pleased to host co-presenters Rosalind Hackett, professor, University of Tennessee in Knoxville; Daniel Philpott, professor, University of Notre Dame; Katayoun Kishi, research associate, Pew Research Center. The webinar will include a presentation and extended Q&A.

This webinar is hosted by the Public Scholars Project, a joint initiative of the Public Understanding of Religion Committee of the American Academy of Religion and of the Religious Freedom Center of the Newseum Institute. Through seminars and other resources, the Public Scholars Project equips scholars of religion to effectively communicate in the public sphere.
