Director of Project Development
Amy Yandell joined the staff of the AAR in October 2015 as the Associate Director of Employment Services and now serves as the Director of Project Development. In this role, Amy oversees Employment Services and plans and implements the Employment Center at the Annual Meeting. Working closely with the Executive Director, Amy serves as the manager of multiple projects, including AAR’s long range plan as well as the forthcoming online Religious Studies Departmental Directory. In addition, she serves as staff liaison to the Board of Directors, Academic Relations Committee, Teaching and Learning Committee, and the Theological Education Committee.
Prior to working with the AAR, Amy enjoyed a thirteen-year career in academia with a tenured position in the University of Tennessee system preceded by three years at the University of Evansville. Amy received her Bachelor of Music degree from Winthrop University and the Master of Music and Doctor of Musical Arts degrees from Arizona State University. She also recently earned a Master of Education degree in Higher Education Leadership at Mercer University.
