Membership and Administrative Coordinator
Myrriam joined the AAR in 2013 as the Membership and Administrative Coordinator. In this capacity, she is responsible for the day-to-day management of membership, including renewing memberships, changing contact information, and helping members to navigate the website. Myrriam is also responsible for the administrative responsibilities of the AAR office in Atlanta, such as general office correspondence and supervising student assistants, as well as performing administrative duties for the Executive Director. In addition, Myrriam is the Luce Center building manager where she helps maintain the facility for use by the American Academy of Religion, the Society of Biblical Literature, Emory University Emeritus College, and the Aquinas Center of Theology.
Myrriam has a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice from John Jay College of Criminal Justice and a master’s in teaching (secondary education, political science) from Tift College of Education, Mercer University. She has a son in Perth, Australia, where he lives with his wife and daughter.
