Calls for Papers   

• Pandemic Reflections: Saint Francis and the Lepers Catch Up with COVID - "With the viral threat having passed its peak, reflections upon COVID’s legacy are called for. How did we live and how ought we to have lived during COVID? What did COVID reveal or reshape with regard to what we value? This collection will reflect upon such questions by way of reference to Saint Francis of Assisi; even more specifically, by way of examining Francis’ embrace of and subsequent service to lepers." (Deadline: July 15)

• Trauma and Teaching Theology & Religion - Special issue of the journal "Teaching Theology & Religion" (Deadline: July 15, 2022)

• The Wendland-Cook Program in Religion and Justice, Vanderbilt Divinity School invites submissions for a forum that will run concurrently with the webinar series, “Reproductive & Economic Justice in a Post-Roe Landscape: Changing the Conversation in Christian Communities,” that will broadcast in the Fall of 2022. (Deadline: August 1, 2022)

Fellowships, Grants, and Further Scholarship    

• AAR Regional Development Grants - Regional Development Grants provide funds for special projects within the regions that promise to benefit the scholarly and professional life of AAR members and do the work of the AAR in the regions. (Deadline: July 1, 2022)

Awards  

• The Katie Geneva Cannon Excellence in Teaching Award recognizes the importance of teaching and honors outstanding teaching in the field. (Deadline: August 1, 2022)
