As the learned society representing the most comprehensive membership in the field of the study of religion, the American Academy of Religion sponsors a variety of services that assist individuals and institutions in the employment process.

Employment Listings is the most comprehensive public record of job listings for credentialed scholars in religion. You need to be an AAR member or have an employer account to use the Listings. Anyone, regardless of membership status, can advertise in Employment Listings.

| Annual Meeting Employment Center |

Held every year at the AAR Annual Meeting, the Employment Center provides services designed to facilitate communication between hiring institutions and job candidates. The Employment Center features job listings, candidate credentials for review, a message center, and an interview facility.
