The section encourages the use of diverse sources and multiple approaches to the study of religions in North America. In most sessions we seek to stimulate comparative discussion across a range of traditions around particular themes. Most years we also devote one session to new work on a particular religious tradition and another to a recently published book of outstanding merit in the field.
