An official publication of the American Academy of Religion

Readership

  • Members of the American Academy of Religion, visitors to the AAR Annual Meeting and www.aarweb.org

Religious Studies News is the newspaper of record for the study of religion. Published quarterly by the American Academy of Religion, it is received by a membership of more than 11,000 scholars in the field of religion. RSN seeks to communicate the important events, announcements, dates, and issues for persons involved in the learned societies in the field. It does not accept books for review.

Editor, Stephanie Gray, M.T.S.

Advertising

Since 1986, RSN has been a multiple message publication (news, announcements, marketing, solicitations, and education) sent to all AAR members — and will continue to be this — but in a different communication medium. In late 2009, RSN will go online. Born of economic necessity, this move will help the Academy achieve an important environmental goal: sustainability. The electronic format will eliminate the need for and cost of paper and ink and the waste/recycling of the print edition.

At this time, advertising opportunities are under development. If you are interested in advertising in our future online publication, please email Aislinn Jones, Director of Marketing, at ajones@aarweb.org. Once advertising guidelines have been established, details will be sent to you.

Thank you,
RSN Editorial Staff
