Susan is the Associate Director of External Relations and the Director of Religionsource, the AAR’s premier referral service for journalists. She administers the annual Awards for Best In-Depth Reporting on Religion, and works with media at the Annual Meeting. She keeps the AAR website updated, coordinates committee videoconference meetings, processes submissions to the Marty Award, and is the staff liaison for the Religion and the Arts Award. Susan, a former Scholars Press employee, has been on staff at the AAR since 2001. She has a bachelor’s degree in religion and philosophy from Wesleyan College.
