Susan is the Associate Director of External Relations and the Director of Religionsource, the AAR’s premier referral service for journalists. She administers the annual Award for Best In-Depth Newswriting on Religion, maintains the AAR and Religionsource websites, coordinates AAR committee meetings held by videoconference, supports online systems for regional calls and meetings, edits the Annual Meeting videos, processes submissions to the Marty Award, and is the staff liaison for the Religion and the Arts Award.
Susan, a former Scholars Press employee, has been on staff since 2001. She has a bachelor’s degree in religion and philosophy from Wesleyan College.
