Margaret Jenkins joined the American Academy of Religion in October 2007 as the Director of Development. Prior to working with the AAR Margaret was a member of the development team for EARTH University Foundation for six years. Headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia, EARTH University Foundation is the support organization for EARTH University in Costa Rica, a private, international non-profit university dedicated to educating leaders in the agricultural sciences and conservation of natural resources. Preceding her work with EARTH, Margaret worked in retail marketing with the Coca-Cola Company in Atlanta, Georgia and in state government relations for a trade association in Washington, DC. Margaret earned a BBA in finance from the University of Georgia.
