Mentoring Roundtable
In cooperation with the Women's Caucus, the Status of Women in the Profession Committee organizes a brown-bag luncheon during the Annual Meeting.  Each year several mid-career and senior AAR scholars gather with newer and emerging scholars in the field to discuss pertinent issues like choosing an adviser, getting published, contract negotiation, and the challenge of balancing work and personal commitments. Attendees are asked to bring questions and a lunch.  Previous participants have included Katie Cannon, Elizabeth Castelli, Susan Henking, Judith Plaskow, and Emilie Townes.

Women's Caucus Events
The Women's Caucus in Religion also holds events during the Annual Meeting.  See the Online Program Book for specific events and times (and search it using the keywords "women" "woman" and "feminist"). Caucus conveners are Laurie Wright Garry and Young Hoon Lee.
