International Dissertation Research Fellowships:
New Program for Students
The Academy is pleased to announce the inauguration of a new program designed to support our interest in international connections and to serve the needs of our student members. Beginning in the spring of 2010, the AAR will award two International Dissertation Research Fellowships annually. Each Fellowship will carry a grant of $5,000 to help cover expenses related to doing dissertation research abroad. Only student members of the AAR who are at the “ABD” stage of their studies will be eligible to apply. The Fellowships will be awarded on a competitive basis by a panel of senior AAR members selected by the AAR President.
